After hearing several complaints from citizens about a suspected drug dealer in their neighborhood, the local police department

began to place additional officers on the streets. While walking the beat one afternoon, two high school teachers approached the officers and informed them that they saw a student’s cell phone text describing a drug deal that was to take place around the corner. The officers immediately ran to the area and located an adolescent with a cell phone who fit the description presented by the teachers. The officers approached the adolescent and inquired about the potential drug deal, which the adolescent denied. Without a search warrant, the officers searched the adolescent’s clothing and discovered several bags of cocaine. The adolescent was arrested and sent to trial. According to case precedent involving the 4th Amendment, what would happen to the drug evidence submitted at trial?

Explanation:

As far as I know, Amendment 4 does not allow police officers to search people without warrant. But in this case, as police officers have recovered the drug evidence, they will submit this evidence in the court for trial; then accused will be trialed on the basis of evidence recovered from him. But as the boy falls in the adolescent, means between 10 to 19 years, he might not be given hard sentence. Otherwise the sentence for drug dealing is usually the life imprisonment or the death sentence if the drug exceeds a specific quantity. So this young boy might not be sentenced with death penalty or life imprisonment, He might be fined heavily.

1.4 A hand-held video player displays 480×320 picture elements (pixels) in each frame of the video. Each pixel requires 2 bytes
ddd [48]

Answer:

0.965 hour

Explanation:

1 frame of video = 480×320 pixels = 480×320×2 bytes = 307,200 bytes

In 1 sec (1/3600 hour) 30 frames of video are displayed which will occupy 30×307,200 bytes = 9,216,000 bytes

Number of hours of video that will fit in a 32 gigabyte (32×10^9 byte) memory = (32×10^9)/(9,216,000×3600) = 0.965 hour

Answer:

The revenue should not be recognized because of the unusual and subjective terms under which the buyer has the right to return the product.

Explanation:

If a buyer of goods has the right to return a product, the transaction is considered a sale with a right of return. When regular sales are made under these terms and there is a reasonable basis for estimating returns, revenue from the sale ought to be recognized and an allowance for returnsshould be established.

However, when the  rate of returns cannot be reasonably estimated, revenue is not recognized until the right of return expires. Even though the goods were shipped in 2015, until the buyer accepts the goods or the right to return them expires, revenue would not be recognized.
