Answer:

Valence

Explanation:

Expectancy theory of motivation is a theory that proposes that an individual will behave or act in a certain way because they are motivated to select a specific behavior over others due to what they expect the result of that selected behavior will be. They will select the behavior that will get them the best result.

This theory has 3 components:

  1. Expectancy: The belief that an effort will result in attainment of desired goals.
  2. Instrumentality: The belief that a person will receive a desired outcome if the performance expectation is met.
  3. Valence: The value individuals place on outcomes based on their goals, values and sources of motivation.

In this example Felicity is a pharmaceutical representative. She has earned a company-paid trip for the last two years and has enjoyed them a lot. She values those trips so she now has the goal to earn another one of those trips this year.

We can see that Felicity VALUES the trips (which are the outcomes of her effort).

Since she places a lot of value on this outcome, the component that is most likely motivating her is Valence.

Answer: Acceleration Clause

Explanation: It is an acceleration clause in a contract or a provision of a contract whereby a lender is entitled to require the borrower to repay all debt within a period of time if some of the terms of the contract are not met by then. When the lender refers to this clause, it gives reasons for invoking this clause, in this case it is not the payment of regular monthly instalments over the last three months. That is why it is called the acceleration clause, because by calling this clause one who owes certain monthly instalments under the contract, if he has not paid by then, to speed up payment, that is, to repay the entire debt within a specified period.

Why did Alexander Hamilton support high tariffs?
schepotkina [342]

After the Revolution, the new United States faced a competitive disadvantage in that the status of industry nationally was relatively weak as compared to European industrial powers.

As a result, Alexander Hamilton wanted high tariffs as a painful jump start of an industrial boom in the United States. The thinking was that if tariffs were high, US citizens would respond by making a similar product in the US.

How must the ampacity of branch-circuit conductors and overcurrent protective devices be sized for outdoor electric deicing or s
emmainna [20.7K]

Thee ampacity of branch circuit conductors and overcurrent protective devices be sized at 125% of the total load. 426.4 for outdoor electric deicing or snow melting equipment.

More about ampacity:

A conductor's maximum current, expressed in amperes (or amps), that it can carry under typical operating conditions is referred to as ampacity, a portmanteau of "ampere capacity."

Due to the extreme heat produced by the current when the conductor's ampacity is exceeded, the conductor or the insulating materials nearby will deteriorate. "Current carrying capacity" is another name for ampacity.

The National Electrical Code, often known as NFPA 70, sets forth ampacity rules that are widely followed by electrical workers in the United States.

According to modern scientific evidence, about how many years ago did our Universe begin to form?
suter [353]

Answer:

13.8 billion years ago

According to the standard Big Bang model, the universe was born during a period of inflation that began about 13.8 billion years ago. Like a rapidly expanding balloon, it swelled from a size smaller than an electron to nearly its current size within a tiny fraction of a second. Initially, the universe was permeated only by energy.
