Suppose that a dominant allele (P) codes for a polka-dot tail and a recessive allele (p) codes for a solid colored tail. In addi

tion, suppose that a dominant allele (L) codes for long eyelashes and a recessive allele (l) codes for short eyelashes. If two individuals heterozygous for both traits (tail color and eyelash length) mate, what's the probability of the phenotypic combinations of the offspring? A. 1:1 ratio (half are polka-dot tails and short eyelashes; half are solid tails and long eyelashes) B. 9:3:3:1 ratio (9 polka-dot tails and long eyelashes, 3 polka-dot tails and short eyelashes, 3 solid tails and long eyelashes, 1 solid tail and short eyelash) C. 1:1 ratio (half are polka-dot tails and long eyelashes; half are solid tails and short eyelashes) D. 9:3:3:1 ratio (9 polka-dot tails and short eyelashes, 3 polka-dot tails and long eyelashes, 3 solid tails and short eyelashes, 1 solid tail and long eyelash)

Anton van Leeuwenhoek is a scientist who saw cells soon after Hooke did. He made use of a microscope containing improved lenses
NeX [460]

Answer: Leeuwenhoek biggest contribution is to the first tenet of the cell theory.

Explanation: the first tenet of cell theory states that every living being is made of cells and even an organism can be made of just one cell able to reproduce by itself.

Leeuwenhoek observations stablish the existence of microscopic structures alive some with movement. This helped other scientists to determinate this structures were cells that can make vital processes such as feeding, breathing or reproducing which are determinant in biological definition of life.

List the layers contained in the atmosphere and describe what is in each layer.
lisabon 2012 [21]

Answer:

Exosphere -The exosphere layer is mainly composed of extremely low densities of hydrogen, helium, and several heavier molecules including nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide closer to the exobase. The atoms and molecules are so far apart that they can travel hundreds of kilometers without colliding with one another.

Thermosphere - The aurora (Northern Lights and Southern Lights) mostly occur in the thermosphere. The thermosphere is a layer of Earth's atmosphere. The thermosphere is directly above the mesosphere and below the exosphere. ... Temperatures in the upper thermosphere can range from about 500° C (932° F) to 2,000° C (3,632° F) or higher.

Mesosphere- Most meteors burn up in the mesosphere. A type of lightning called sprites sometimes appears in the mesosphere above thunderstorms. Strange, high-altitude clouds called noctilucent clouds sometimes form in this layer near the North and South Poles.

Stratosphere-The stratosphere is the second major atmospheric layer above the troposphere, extending in altitude from about 8 to 30 miles high. No weather occurs in the stratosphere. The statosphere contains over 15% of the total mass of the atmosphere, and is where the ozone layer is located.

Troposphere-The troposphere is the lowest layer of Earth's atmosphere, and is also where nearly all weather conditions take place. It contains 75% of the atmosphere's mass and 99% of the total mass of water vapour and aerosols.

i hope this helps, good luck :)
