Answer:

D. By referring to how farmers "died on" and are "dying on" the land, the author conveys sympathy toward the tenant farmers for being displaced.

Explanation:

He is trying to make a decent claim to the actual fact that the land is property of those who worked on it, and grew on it, that a piece of paper doesn´t have anything on the fact that men died and lived for that land. And by stating that men are actually dying on the land he draws simpathy from the reader, to persuade the reader to think like him.

Was Mr. Radley justified in shooting his gun? Why or why not? (book : To Kill a Mockingbird)
Vsevolod [243]

Answer:

He shot it in the air to scare a man out of his collard green patch in his garden. Crazy. How can anyone be justified for being reckless with a gun?

Explanation:

Maybe this was the best way in which he knew how to handle the situation. He really did not know what race the person was - he just assumed that he was black and he shot to scare him away.

You've found an Internet article that supports your view of a research subject. The author seems to have excellent credentials,
Korolek [52]
I believe the answer would be  "C. You should not use the article as a reference. The lack of corroboration and outdated information outweigh the author's credentials."
