Answer:

Martin works as a pizza delivery person. He parks his bike outside Regalia Inc. To deliver an order. Meanwhile, a damaged book rack in Regalia, which is situated on the first floor of the building, falls down through an open window and crashes on his bike. However, no one admits to having seen the rack fall. Can Martin recover against Regalia for negligence?

It is a dicey situation, if Regalia Inc has a parking lots and Martin did not use it rather he just parked at his convenience, then no one will be responsible for such but if he parked at allotted space for bikes and such occurrence happened then Regalia inc will bear the cost and pay for damages.

Tems11 [23]

Answer:

The options chosen are:

B. the tragedy of the commons;

C. incentive to conserve the property;

E. incentive to protect the property.

Explanation:

B. The tragedy of the commons- Open-access regimes can be exploited on a first-come, first-served basis, because no individual or group has the legal power to restrict access. The consequences of open access have become popularly known as what Hardin (1968) misleadingly called ‘the Tragedy of the Commons.’

C. incentive to conserve the property: In addition, clearly defining and assigning property rights should resolve environmental problems by internalising externalities and relying on incentives for private owners to conserve resources for the future.

E. The Incentive to protect the property - The incentives associated with private property rights can help conserve scarce resources: Private ownership entails penalties for premature harvesting or over-harvesting of resources. Private ownership rewards community and individual cooperation. Private ownership rewards conservation and stewardship behaviour.

If the world price for good A is above the domestic price for good A without trade, then producer surplus will ________ and tota
goblinko [34]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "B": increase; decrease.

Explanation:

Producer surplus is the difference between the price at which the manufacturer actually sells a product and the minimum price the manufacturer would have accepted. The surplus results from the producer being able to sell their goods at a market price higher than their minimum price.

So, if producer A manufactures a product that is being sold at a higher price level abroad, its producer surplus will increase. However, the overall economic surplus with trade will decrease since the introduction to producer A to the market will allow consumers to purchase the goods at a lower price.
