Protein Synthesis is usually a two-step process-

Step 1: Transcription- In this process using the code of a RNA nucleotide, a DNA sequence of a gene is re-written. This code of RNA needs to follow one more step and convert itself into messenger RNA

Step 2- Translation

The nucleotide sequence of the mRNA is converted into sequence of amino acids in a polypeptide or protein sub-unit

The cell recapture the three group of nucleotide called codon. The codon is the representation of  amino acid.

For example-

The mRNA sequence is:

5'-AUGAUCUCGUAA-3'

This is coded sequence would be

3'-GTA GTC TUA TGG-5'

Identical duplicates of the mother cell are created by _____. mitosis meiosis cytokinesis
lana66690 [7]

The right answer is mitosis.

Mitosis refers to the chromosomal events of eukaryotic cell division. This is a nonsexual / asexual duplication (unlike meiosis).

It also refers to a very particular stage of the eukaryotic cell cycle, called the "cell cycle", which is the stage of duplication of each chromosome of the mother cell and of their equal distribution in each of the two daughter cells.

Mitosis allows the formation of two daughter cells strictly identical genetically to the mother cell.

Which term is used to describe the amino acids which cannot be synthesized by the cell but must be acquired from an outside sour
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

Essential amino acids

Explanation:

The amino acids that cannot be synthesized by a cell and must be provided by any other source are called essential amino acids. For instance, proteins are made up of 20 standard amino acids. The cells in humans are incapable of synthesizing many amino acids which in turn are called essential amino acids. Histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine are the essential amino acids that must be taken in diet.
