Answer:

The first blank can be correctly filled up with the same genetic material and the second blank can be correctly filled up with to contract.

All the cells of the body such as muscle cells, nerve cell, cardiac cell, blood cell et cetera contain the same genetic material. They become specialized cell as a result of cell differentiation.

The function of the muscle cells is to contract which helps in locomotion and movement. Skeletal muscles help in locomotion and smooth muscles help in the function of internal organs such as uterus muscle contracts which help in delivering the baby.

The function of the nerve cells is to transmit signals from receptors to the central nervous system (CNS) and from CNS to effector organs.

Neurons and muscle cells perform different functions, however they have the same DNA (genetic material) contained within them.

The function of muscle cells is to mechanically contact to allow the body to move in space.

The function of nerve cells is to send and receive signals. in order to trigger an event or elicit a response.

Which of the following environmental conditions would be MOST likely to result in transcription of the lac
Kruka [31]

Answer:

The correct answer is B high levels of lactose and high levels of cyclic AMP.

Explanation:

Lac operon contain 3 regulatory genes and 3 structural genes. In presence of lactose the repressor molecule that is encoded by Lac I gene cannot bound to the operator region.

Bacause the lactose interact with the repressor and change its conformation so that it cannot repress the expression of the structural genes of lac operon.

On the other hand cyclic AMP is a positive regulator of  lac operon .The interaction of cyclic AMP with the promoter region of lac operon stimulates the binding of RNA polymerase in the promoter region to boost the expression of structural genes of lac operon such as Lac Z,Lac Y and Lac A.

Stolb23 [73]

Answer:

a. are a valid way to measure a person's inborn intelligence

Explanation:

IQ testing is an important tool for measuring an individual's innate intellectual abilities, as long as its content is not limited to just one area of knowledge. Cognitive ability is related to hereditary and cultural characteristics that can be inherited or developed throughout life. Over the years, experts have developed techniques for measuring individual intellect.

The tool is used to obtain an intelligence indicator for different purposes. Following the original idea of the test, its application may be necessary to identify children with attention deficit or who are in a more advanced learning process than other students.

The IQ test is also used to diagnose issues related to an individual's behavior and conduct, and to support a job selection process.
