EXPLANATION: Floor Drains are rapidly getting extinct because the contents of floor drain are toxic in nature and may cause harm to humans. a typical floor drain may contain chemicals such as oils, degreasers,  gasoline, diesel, detergents, heavy metals, and antifreeze. In some instances it  may contain solvents. If these things are released through dry well or septic tanks to the ground, it may mix with drinking water supplies and become toxic and unfit for human consumption. If these are discharged to surface water, these can be toxic for fish and other marine lives.
