Answer:

The area is 128.605meters^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the area of a triangle is :\frac{base*height}{2}

To work this out you would first have to divide the shape into 4 smaller triangles.

Then we are going to first calculate the area of on the bottom triangles. To do this we would multiply the base of 8.5 and the height of 10.2, this gives you 86.7meters^{2}. Although you would normally divide the answer by 2, as there are 2 identical triangles that is not necessary.

Now that we know the area of the bottom triangles we can now work out the top triangles. You can do this by multiplying the base op 8.5 by the height of 4.93, this gives you  41.905meters^2.

To work out the total area of this shape you would simply add the areas of 86.7 and 41.905, this would gives you 128.605meters^2. This is because we first broke the shape down so you could work out the area of each individual area, however to work out the total all the areas must be added up.

1) Divide the shape into 4 smaller triangles.

2) Multiply 8.5 by 10.2.

8.5*10.2=86.7meters^2

3) Multiply 8.5 by 4.93.

8.5*4.94=41.905meters^2\\

4) Add 86.7 and 41.905.

86.7+41.905=128.605meters^2

Length of diagonal=4.93+10.2=15.13 m
Length of the other diagonal=8.5+8.5=17 m
Area=1/2 x diagonal1 x diagonal2
=1/2 x 15.13 x 17
=128.61 cm^2

Compare the average rate of change for both functions over the interval [0,3].
Verizon [17]
So find g(0) and g(3)
G(0) = 0^2 -5(0) +3 = 3
And g(3) = 3^2 - 5(3) +3 = 9 - 15 + 3 = 3 so there is no change in g(x) for that interval.

H(0) = 8(0) + 10 = 10
And h(3) = 8(3) + 10 = 34
So the change in h(x) for that interval is 24.

(3,-3), slope 3 write an equation of the line that passes through the given point and has the given slope
tester [92]

Answer:

y = 3x - 12

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Here m = 3, thus

y = 3x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute (3, - 3) into the partial equation

- 3 = 9 + c ⇒ c = - 3 - 9 = - 12

y = 3x - 12 ← equation of line

Add 78, 139, and 14, and then divide by 44.
denpristay [2]

Answer:

5.24, 21/4, or 5 and 1/4

Step-by-step explanation:

78+139+14 = 231

231/44 = 5.25

Or 21/4 (improper fraction)

Or 5 and 1/4 (mixed number)

I'm not exactly sure what you were asking I hope that helps!
