The term "heresy" has been reduced to the choice of religious or political doctrines, to adherence to churches or political parties.
The reasons for heresy can be: ignorance of the true creed, wrong judgment, imperfect perception and understanding of dogmas. The persistent adherence to a contradictory doctrine concerning a matter of faith clearly defined by the Church is plain and simple heresy.
