Humanist perspective rejects the assumptions of behaviorist perspective and which is characterized as deterministic and dependent on research based on animals. It also rejects psychodynamic speech which is also characterized as deterministic with unconscious instinctive and irrational forces which determines human thought and behavior.  

<u>HUMANIST PERSPECTIVE </u>

The humanist perspective emphasizes on the individual’s personal worth and on his creative and active nature. Humanist approach is optimistic which focuses on human capacity which are noble and how these human capacity helps in overcoming pain, hardship and despair.

Humanist perspective basically studies the whole individual and uniqueness of all the individuals. Humanist perspective developed in opposition to the limitations of the behaviorist and psychodynamic psychology.

Humanist approach is optimistic perspective in a way that it focuses on human condition and human nature. This perspective focuses on the human being’s ability to think rationally and consciously.
