CANCER, DIABETES, AND IMMUNE SYSTEM diseases are diseases that are considered non-infectious. Non-infectious diseases are diseases that are caused by surrounded factors, lifestyle factors, environmental toxins, and etc.

Smoking and drinking has been known to be a habit forming practices. Both this practice can not only harm the individual involved but also the people around them are at a huge risk.

To prevent the passive smoking and public nuisance, government has brought new laws. These laws enacted has restricted individuals or a group to refrain from committing this deed.

<u>Alcohol:</u>

i) Age limit- An individual is allowed to buy any alcoholic drink if only he/she has crossed the age of 21 years.

ii) BAC limit- Blood alcohol concentration is an mirror of the amount of alcohol the individual is under the influence of. This level is measured by an apparatus and the level above 0.08 makes the individual to drive on road. If found the act is punishable by law.

<u>Tobacco:</u>

i) Age limit- An individual is allowed to buy cigarettes or any other tobacco products if only he/she has crossed the age of 21 years.

ii) Banning smoking in public spaces- Many states in U.S. has joined hands to make sure that every individuals right to get access of clean smoke free air is fulfilled. It is banned in many states to smoke in public place such as offices, restaurants, parks, etc.
