Thesauruses list words that have the same, or nearly the same, meanings.
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer: True.

Explanation:

Thesauruses are books that list different words with the same meaning (synonyms) or similar meaning.  The words are usually listed in alphabetical order. Thesauruses differ from dictionaries in that they simply group words, without providing word definitions. A dictionary, on the other hand, usually provides a detailed definition of a word.

Select the correct texts in the passage.
timama [110]

Answer: old fashioned and junk

Explanation:

It says the record player was old fashioned, and the parts he needed to fix it were either obsolete or unavailable or pricy. Jared couldn’t get it working, and when you put the context clues together, it’s because the recorder player was too outdated. Things in the junk are normally too old to work anymore.
