Solving linear equationplease show each step

To solve this first you need to do distributive property, so 2/3(9×-12)=8+2x will now become 6x-12=8+2x because 9 times 2/3 is 18/3 and if you simplify that it will equal to 6, now your new equation will be 6×-12=8+2×. Now you add 12 from both sides and your new equation will be 6x=20+2×,After that you subtract 2x from both sides and your new equation will be 4x=20 and then the last and final thing you do is just divide 20 by 4 and your final answer will be x=5 or 5, hope this helped

Suppose you roll two 8 sided dice.
galben [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A)

You can roll a four in the following 3 ways

2  2

1   3

3  1

If the dice are fair and you can roll any one of 8 numbers then the the total number of ways that you can roll 2 eight sided dice is 8 * 8 = 64

Answer 3/64 or 0.0469

B)

You can roll a pair of ones only 1 way.

1/64 = 0.015625

C )

The odd numbers are 1 3 5 7

so you can get two odd numbers 1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4 and that's the answer to C.

Identity the congruence statement for the triangles below.
GalinKa [24]

<u>Answer:</u>

Triangle HMK≅Triangle ILJ

<u>Explanation:</u>

Two triangles are congruent if they have the same sides and the same size. This means they have the same shape and size, regardless of their position or orientation.

If we want to verify if two triangles are congruent, they must fulfill some conditions:

a) Two triangles are congruent if their three sides are respectively equal

b) Two triangles are congruent if two of their sides and the angle between them are respectively of equal length.

c) Two triangles are congruent if they have a congruent side and the angles with vertex at the ends of that side are also congruent.

d) Two triangles are congruent if they have two sides respectively congruent and the angles opposite the greater of the sides are also congruent

According to these criteria, Triangle HMK≅Triangle ILJ

Given the equation 2X +4/3 Y equals one and Y -9/13 x=9 by what Vector would you multiply the first equation so that combining t
Mila [183]

Answer: Option B

B. \frac{9}{26}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the following equations:

2x + \frac{4}{3}y = 1       (1)

y -\frac{9}{13}x=9          (2)

Let us call "a" the coefficient of the variable x in the first equation and call "b" the coefficient of the variable x in the second equation.

Then we must multiply the number "a" by a value z such that when adding az + b the result is zero.a = 2

b = -\frac{9}{13}

So

2z-\frac{9}{13} = 0

We solve the equation for z

2z=\frac{9}{13}

z=\frac{9}{26}

The first equation must be multiplied by a value of \frac{9}{26}
