The body parts of cnidarians are arranged in symmetry. There are two main types: polyp and medusa. Polyps are cylindrical in structure and medusa are in an umbrella form. In both the forms, the outer layer of the body is an epidermal layer, followed by gastrodermis layer, and in between the layers, mesoglea are present. There are tentacles, which helps in food ingestion.
