<u>Answer:</u>    3.ATP

<em>ATP is produced during glycolysis</em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

Since in whole method

<em>Total ATP consumed= a pair of </em>

<em>Total ATP formation = 2×2 = four </em>

<em>Formation of NADH + H = a pair of </em>

<em>And we understand that one NADH H2 = 3ATP </em>

<em>Therefore internet ATP synthesis= 4+2×3-2=8 molecules of ATP. </em>

ATP particles are delivered in the subsequent a large portion of, the net increase of glycolysis is just two ATP since two ATP atoms are utilized in <em>the primary portion of glycolysis.</em>

<h2>CRISPR/Cas9</h2>

Explanation:

CRISPR can be used to reintroduce dystrophin back into the KO mouse

  • CRISPR stands for Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats and is used to for gene editing
  • CRISPR/Cas-mediated genome editing has been shown to permanently correct DMD mutations and restore dystrophin function in mouse models
  • Germline editing by injecting zygotes with CRISPR/Cas9 editing component was first done in mdx mice by correcting the mutated exon 23
  • Postnatal editing of mdx mice was then achieved using recombinant adeno-associated virus to deliver CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing components and correct the dystrophin gene by skipping or deleting the mutated exon 23 in vivo
  • Germline and postnatal CRISPR/Cas9 editing approaches both successfully restored dystrophin function in the mice and same technique can be used for KO mouse model

Which type of change would be more likely to have severe consequences—substitution or deletion? Why?
ludmilkaskok [199]

While both will equate changes in a genetic chain, deletion would have more severe consequences.  A substitution mutation usually only causes minor disorders and diseases, like sickle cell anemia.  Whereas deletion causes much more serious diseases, like cystic fibrosis, and turner syndrome which is  where a female is born with only one X chromosome.
