A library checked out 52 books.....24 are fiction....that means (52 - 24) = 28 are non-fiction ratio of fiction to non-fiction is : 24/28 which reduces to 6/7...so the ratio is 6:7 or 6/7 or 6 to 7 <=== with these problems, u have to pay close attention to the wording...because if ti wanted the ratio of non-fiction to fiction, it would be 28/24 or 7:6 and if u wanted the ratio of fiction to total books, it would be 24/52 or 6:13
