<span>Henry's journey in The Red Badge of Courage is obviously a very complex one, and that it's difficult to fit into an 8 slide presentation, but you can certainly try! I think the thing it is most important to discuss is the fluctuation in his character development, from being terrified to confident, to being scared again, to finally overcoming his fears only to receive a terrible knockback. Make sure not to write as if his journey within the story was one smooth path.</span>

<u>The author is trying to explain the type of people we become under certain circumstances. When we feel like we have no choice, or we feel forced to do something we don't want to do, we often become something we don't want to be. We either become violent, make extremely horrible choices, or end up hurting ourselves and/or our loved ones. The author is trying to explain that Hulk feels the same way, he is often put in situations where he is forced to make an impossible decision, and just like humans, he often has to suffer the consequences as well.</u>

It would give the mother and father depression, causing them to be too sad for work. They’d cry on their papers and probably refuse to do them. Then they’d get fired, and would’nt get a payment. Without money, they can’t pay taxes or bills, so they get kicked out of their apartment or home. Then they’d become homeless, and an aunt, uncle, or grandparent would have to take care of them and let them live with them, but handling people with depression would be too difficult, causing the relatives to overwork, not getting enough sleep.
He realizes Max really does remember seeing him kill Max's mother.
