Replace the CIRCLES by A and the SQUARES by B:

1) A + B = 14 And

2) A - B = 2

Add 1) + 2)

A+B   =14
A-B    = 2
------   ----
2A+0 = 16 then A = 16/2 = 8. If A = 8, then B = 6

So the CIRCLE = 8 and the SQUARE = 6

Identify what type of polygon this is
DaniilM [7]

1. This is a nonagon. A nonagon is a 9-sided polygon; the figure has 9 sides.

2. This is not a regular polygon. A regular polygon is equiangular and equilateral which means that all of the angles are equal in measure and all of the sides are equal in length. The figure shown does not have equal sides or angles; therefore, it is an irregular polygon.

Greetings from Brasil...

According to the annex, we note that

1 qt = 1 quart = 0.95L

To solve this problem, just apply some rules of 3.....

1st - how many qt's are in 15.5 cups

  qt                 cup

   1   ----------     4

   X  ----------   15.5

4 · X = 1 · 15.5

4X = 15.5

X = 15.5 ÷ 4

X = 3.875qt

Last rule of 3 to know how many liters there are in 3.875qt:

  qt                       litres

   1         ----------    0.95

3.875    ----------      Y

1 · Y = 0.95 · 3.875

Y = 3.68L

In a day a young man should drink 3.68L of water
