Answer: C: On the other hand, a definite point in favor of the Ferndale Shelter is that only animal lovers work there, and there are plenty of them to give the animals good care!

Explanation:

The detail about the number of people working at the shelter shows that the animals are in good care. Since there are so many volunteers, it can be assumed that they love animals as well since they're not being paid. We don't have any other details about how expensive, gentle or sociable the pets are.

in Abuela Invents the Zero.” How does the theme help you understand a larger lesson about how life experiences can shape our val
myrzilka [38]

The larger lesson to be learnt here is the fact that for all the reasons in the world, no human being is a zero, though it is a common perception if one is abandoned. Being left alone in a  moment of pain, loss  or  confusion might make someone seem  unimportant to the others who are around. In the situation Connie has  to face, performing an unwanted action , she simply takes into account how ackward it feels  for her when her grandma gets lost. She leaves her alone and not knowing where her grandaughter is causes anger and dissapointment in the lady.People, all of us,  tend to take it too much to heart when we are deserted , especially if we are counting on someone.the old usually experience this awful sensation of having been left on their own because no one takes them into account any longer.Yet, they are full of experiences and so eager to help with all thay have been through that it is impossible not to care about them. Finally, we will all reach that age and feeling like a zero is the worst sensation in the universe.Connie has to understand that and value the presence of her grandma.

Give the correct literary devices for the following expressions.
maksim [4K]

Answer:

1.Hyperbole

2. Metaphor

6. Simile

Explanation:

I'm not really sure of the rest but, metaphor is to say something is. Simile is like or as. Hyperbole is like an over exaggeration. It could also be verbal irony which is saying something you don't really mean, but I'm pretty sure that it's Hyperbole. The Lit Devices are: Hyperbole, Foreshadowing, Theme, Dramatic Irony, Verbal Irony, Metaphor, Simile. If you look up the meanings to those it should help. I hope I was helpful somewhat
