Ans. (B). chloroplast.

Prokaryotes are first organisms that appeared on the earth. These organisms lack true nucleus and other membrane -bound organelles. According to the studies, cell structure that resembles these prokaryotic organisms are mitochondria and chloroplasts.

This is because, chloroplasts and mitochondria have their own circular DNA to synthesize enzymes and proteins for cellular functions, double-membrane covering, and ribosomes, all of which are  also present in prokaryotes.

Thus, the correct answer is option (B).

Hi!

The answer is B. chloroplast because prokaryotic cells don't have contractile vacuoles, DNA, or a nucleus.

Hope this helps!  :))<span />

Where does most of the primary production occur in an ocean ecosystem?
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

B. First 200 feet

Explanation:

The first 200 feet deep zone of the ocean is termed as Photic Zone of the ocean because this zone receives sufficient quantities of light so that the phytoplanktons that are found in this are become enable for Photosynthesis. This zone is critically important because we know that phytoplanktons are the primary producers in oceans and the food web of the ocean starts with these phytoplanktons. This zone is considered to be the area of highest net primary productivity.
