Defence of the country: Government is responsible for defending the country against external aggression. It is the duty of the armed forces of a country to maintain the territorial integrity of the state.

Provision of employment : It is the duty of government to provide gainful employment for their citizens. This goes a long way in improving the welfare of the people.

2. Fundamental right are the natural qualities that human being must possess. It may be a social qualities or political qualities or economic qualities. The fundamental right of the citizens must be recognized by the government and at the same time must be entrenched in the constitution of the country. Right are associated with man and it is also inalienable. It is also inviolable, man has to exercise all the right entrenched in their constitution and ensure that it is exercised within the purview of the law.for example right to life. Likewise, as the state is in duty bound to protect the right of its citizens from being violated, also citizens are obliged morally and naturally to perform certain duties and obligations to the state in return.for example regular payment of tax
