Hello!
Mrs. Borhoquez is suffering from illness anxiety disorder.

When a person has this type of disorder, he/she strongly believes that he/she is suffering from a medical disorder, regardless of being proven otherwise. The person, such as Mrs. Boroquez, may become paranoid and continue to search for an explanation for her concerns.

I hope this helps! Have a great day!

Mrs. Borhoquez is suffering from hypochondriasis. This is a mental disorder in which the person affected feels as if every minor symptom is a sign of something larger, and that they are or will be diagnosed with a serious illness soon. While this disease in itself is not extremely serious, the amount of anxiety it can cause could cause serious issues (including homicidal and suicidal tendencies) for the hypochondriac.

Living diatoms contain brownish plastids. If global warming causes blooms of diatoms in the surface waters of Earth's oceans, how might this be harmful to the animals that build coral reefs?

Answer:

B) The coral animals' endosymbiotic dinoflagellates may get "shaded out" by the diatoms.

Hope this helps
