Mathematics
1 answer:
Reptile [31]3 years ago
6 0
1/50 converted to percent would be 2%. Here is how I got 2%. All I did was just divide 1 and 50 and got 0.2 then I had to multiply 0.2 * 100 and got 2%.

1/50 converted to decimal would be 0.02. I got 0.02 by dividing 1 and 50.

A bag has six balls labeled a,b,c,d.e and f . One ball will be randomly picked, and its letter will be recorded as the outcome.
Dvinal [7]

Sample space = {a,b,c,d,e,f}

Event space = {a,c}

We simply list all of the letters mentioned as they are the possible outcomes. We can only pick one item from the sample space. The event space is the set of outcomes where we want to happen (picking either an 'a' or 'c').

You are baking cookies for your class. There are 23 total students in your class and you have baked 12 cookies. Write and solve
KonstantinChe [14]
(x cookies) / (23 students - (12/2) students) = 2 cookies per student
[x / (23 - 6)] cookies per student = 2 cookies per student
23 students * (2 cookies per students) - 12 cookies = x cookies
The "students" unit cancels
46 cookies - 12 cookies = x cookies
x cookies = 34 cookies
