How do the house and the senate consider a bill?
posledela

Answer:

A two-thirds vote or greater is needed in both the House and the Senate to override the President's veto. If two-thirds of both houses of Congress vote successfully to override the veto, the bill becomes a law. If the House and Senate do not override the veto, the bill "dies" and does not become a law.

What members of the feudal system seems to be ignored by the Magna Carta?
laila [671]

Answer:

In immediate terms, Magna Carta was a failure—civil war broke out the same year, and John ignored his obligations under the charter. Upon his death in 1216, however, Magna Carta was reissued with some changes by his son, King Henry III, and then reissued again in 1217.

Place yourself in this time period, What are the top three reasons that would push you to enlist to fight in the civil war?
Nikolay [14]

Answer:

One of my reasons that i would enlist to fight in the civil war is because i believe in equality. Slavery is something that should NEVER of been a thing to begin with. Even though it might not be in my self interest to fight in a war where i could possibly lose my life, I realize i would not just be fighting for my life, but for the lives of millions. Visualize a day in the of a slave and think how it would feel for people fighting for your freedom and know that you got to be apart of that and fighting a war that would change the lives of millions for the better is a great thing to be apart of.
