3n + 6b = 72...multiply by 4
4n + 5b = 66 ...multiply by -3
----------------
12n + 24b = 288 (result of multiplying by 4)
-12n - 15b = - 198 (result of multiplying by -3)
---------------add
9b = 90
b = 90/9
b = 10 .....each bolt is 10 grams

3n + 6b = 72
3n + 6(10) = 72
3n + 60 = 72
3n = 72 - 60
3n = 12
n = 12/3
n = 4.....each nut is 4 grams

so the mass of 1 bolt and 1 nut = 10 + 4 = 14 grams <==

How do you do this question?
daser333 [38]

Answer:

B. 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

\lim_{z \to 0} \frac{g(z)e^{-z}-3}{z^{2}-2z}

If we plug in 0 for z, we get 0/0.  Apply l'Hopital's rule.

\lim_{z \to 0} \frac{-g(z)e^{-z}+g'(z)e^{-z}}{2z-2}

Now when we plug in 0 for z, we get:

\frac{-g(0)e^{0}+g'(0)e^{0}}{2(0)-2}\\\frac{-g(0)+g'(0)}{-2}\\\frac{-3+2}{-2}\\\frac{1}{2}

Veseljchak [2.6K]

Answer:

\sqrt{118}<em> or 10.8627805 </em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Start by taking the difference of each value of both points

<u>Find the difference in x values </u>

78-2 = 76

<u>Find the difference in y values</u>

46-4 = 42

<u>Add the two differences </u>

76+42=118

<u>Take the square root of this value </u>

Find the area of the region shaded in green. Use 3.14 to approximate pi.
8090 [49]

Answer:

254 cm² (to 3 s.f.)

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of shaded region

= area of large circle -area of smaller circle

\boxed{area \: of \: circle = \pi {r}^{2} }

Radius of large circle= 15cm

Radius of smaller circle= 12cm

Area of shaded region

= π(15²) -π(12²)

= 225π -144π

= 81π

= 81(3.14)

= 254.34

= 254 cm² (3 s.f.)
