Hi there!

In order to be able to fin the slope, you first need to have a slope-intercept general structure, which is the following :

y = mx + b (where a and b can be 2 real numbers)

So you'll need to isolate the "y" :

12x + 3y = 9

subtract 12x from each side of the equation

3y = 9 - 12x

divide each side of the equation by 3

y = 3 - 4x

y = -4x + 3

Now that you have the right strucutre, it's super easy to find the slope. In fact, the slope is the "b" in the equation, which in this case is 3.

So your answer is : The slope is 3.

There you go! I really hope this helped, if there's anything just let me know! :)

The slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

m - slope, b - y-intercept

We have

12x + 3y = 9     |subtract 12x from both sides

3y = -12x + 9    |divide both sides by 3

y = -4x + 3 → m = -4 and b = 3

Therefore your answer is -4.

Naddik [55]

Answer:

14, 16

Step-by-step explanation:

The prime factorization of 224 is 2⁵ × 7. To make it a perfect square, we need the bases to have an even exponent, therefore we divide it by 2 × 7 = 14 to get 16.

marin [14]
Circle = (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2

Center is (h,k) h = -5, k = 2
Radius is 4, r = 4

(x - -5)^2 + (y - 2)^2 = 4^2
(x + 5)^2 + (y - 2)^2 = 16
