1.  Both are a good workout.

2.  Can be played in singles or doubles.

3.   Require some type of paddle.

differences

1.  Pickleball uses an underhand serve.

2.  Tennis has a bigger court.

3.  The balls are two completely different styles. A pickleball is made of plastic, and a Tennis ball is rubbery.
