You divide the decimal like a normal division problem but you need to change the divisor into a whole number (no decimal) and do the same thing to the dividend

Ex: 5÷2.5
    =50÷25
       ^     ^
       |    moved the decimal so it's a whole (x10)
   moved the same amount of times  (x10)

A rectangle has a height of 4 and a width of x2 + 3x + 2.
otez555 [7]
<h3><u>Given</u>:</h3>
  • A rectangle has a height of 4 and a width of x² + 3x + 2.

<h3><u>To find</u>:</h3>
  • The area of the entire rectangle.

<h3><u>Solution</u>:</h3>

Hence, we know that area of rectangle is equals to the product of length and breadth.

Therefore, the area of rectangle is,

= 4 \times( {x}^{2}  +3x + 2 ) \\   = 4({x}^{2}  + 3x + 2) \\  =   \green{ \boxed{4 {x}^{2}  + 12x + 8}}

Therefore, the answer is 4x² + 12x + 8.

Please help will make brainliest. Write the equation of a line that is parallel to y=9 and that passes through the point (3,-8)
kow [346]

Answer:

y= -8

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{y- y1}{x- x1}  =  \frac{y + 8}{x - 3}  = m

where m is the slope of the line.

m= 0 which is equal to the slope of the line y=9

because both are parallel.

y + 8 = 0(x - 3)

=  > y =  - 8
