The answer is 31.7 because to get j by itself you add 9.2 to 22.5
you have to get j by itself and since the operation being used is subtraction, you have to use the opposite, which is addition. so you add 9.2 to both sides, which gets rid of 9.2 on the variable side and on the the numerical side 22.5+9.2=31.7. i don't really know how explain a simple one step equation

Answer:

\large{ \tt{☄ \: EXPLANATION}} :

✎ Firstly , Remember these things :

 • To convert the percentage into a decimal fraction, remove the % symbol and divide it by 100 as in the case of conversion of percentage into fraction. We know that , divide by 100 means shifting to the left ; so to convert a percentage into decimal fraction, remove the % symbol and shift the decimal point two places to the left. For example : 12\% = \frac{12}{100} = \boxed{ 0.12}

\large{ \tt{☥ \: LET'S \: SOLVE}} :

\large{1. \: \: 52\% \: \text{of} \: 210 = \frac{52}{100} \times 210 = 0.52 \times 210 = \boxed{109.2} }

\large{ 2. \: \: 35\% \: \text{of} \: 500 = \frac{35}{100} \times 500 = 0.35 \times 500 = \boxed{175} }

\large{3. \: 28\% \: \text{of} \: 866 = \frac{28}{100} \times 866 = 0.28 \times 366 = \boxed{102.48} }

\large{ \tt{✺ \: REPEAT \: DAILY} }:

 • I will remain focused on my goals. Even if I have a moment of difficulty , I will not give up. I know Success comes with consistency. I know that I will make it. Things will get better. No problem or challenge will stop me. Everything I deserve is coming my way.

How do you workout 7x-19<16
laila [671]

Answer:

To work this problem out you would do it as if it were just a simple equation

7x-19<16 (you would first have to add 19 to both sides)

7x<35 (then you would divide by 7 to get the variable by itself)

x<5 ( you answer would then be 5)
