Volume can be worked out by multiplying the width, length and height i.e.
1.2m * 3.4m * 0.5m = volume
2.04m^3 = volume

Now we need to convert that in liters
1 cubic meter = 1000 liters
So 2.04 cubic meters = 2040 liters

Multiply the given dimensions by (100cm/1m) to convert it to centimeters

<span>1.2(100cm/1m) = 120 cm </span>
<span>3.4(100cm/1m) = 340 cm </span>
<span>0.5(100cm/1m) = 50 cm </span>

<span>the volume of a box is equal to (length)(width)(height) </span>

<span>that is </span>
<span>V = (120cm)(340cm)(50cm) </span>
<span>V = (6000 cm^2)(340cm) </span>
<span>V = 2040000 cm^3 </span>

<span>now 1 cm^3 is equal to one mL and 1000 mL is 1 Liter </span>

<span>V =2040000 mL multiply by (1 Liter/1000 mL) </span>
<span>V = 2040 L </span>

<span>That's 2,040 liters.

Hope this helps :)</span>

If f(x)f(x) is an exponential function where f(-1)=5f(−1)=5 and f(7)=32f(7)=32, then find the value of f(4)f(4), to the nearest
Whitepunk [10]

Using an exponential function, it is found that the value of the function when x = 4 is of f(4) = 15.95.

<h3>What is an exponential function?</h3>

It is modeled by:

y = ab^x

In which:

  • a is the initial value.
  • b is the rate of change, as a decimal.

In this problem, we have that f(-1)=5, hence:

5 = ab^{-1}

\frac{a}{b} = 5

a = 5b

We also have that f(7)=32, hence:

32 = ab^7

Since a = 5b:

5b^8 = 32

b = \sqrt[8]{\frac{32}{5}}

b = 1.2612.

a = 5b = 5 x 1.2612 = 6.306.

Hence the function is given by:

y = 6.306(1.2612)^x

Then, when x = 4, we have that:

y = 6.306(1.2612)^4 = 15.95

In parallelogram ABCD , m∠A=(2x)° and m∠B=(5x+5)° . The figure shows parallelogram A B C D with vertices named clockwise from bo
lara [203]

Answer:

The measure of angles of parallelogram are

∠A = 50° ,

∠B = 130° ,

∠C = 50° ,

∠D = 130°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as for a parallelogram :

The vertices of parallelogram is A B C D in clockwise

The measure of angle A = ∠A =  ( 2 x )°

The measure of angle B =  ∠B =  ( 5 x + 5 )°

Now, for a parallelogram , the sum of measure of all four angles = 360°

<u>From The property of Parallelogram</u>

A ) The adjacent angles are supplementary

So, ∠A + ∠B =  180°

Or, ( 2 x )° + ( 5 x + 5 )° = 180°

Or, ( 7 x + 5 )° = 180°

Or , ( 7 x )° = 180° - 5°

Or , ( 7 x )° = 175°

∴   x = \frac{175}{7}

I.e x = 25°

So,  ∠A =  ( 2 x )° =  ( 2 ×25° )

I.e , ∠A = 50°

 ∠B =  ( 5 x + 5 )°

Or, ∠B =  ( 5 ×25° + 5 )°

I.e ,  ∠B = 130°

B ) The opposite angles of parallelogram is equal

   So,  ∠C =  ∠A = 50°

I,e   ∠C = 50°

And ∠D = ∠B = 130°

I.e  ∠D = 130°

Hence The measure of angles of parallelogram are ∠A = 50° , ∠B = 130° , ∠C = 50° , ∠D = 130°  Answer

Which point on the graph indicates a surplus production of shampoo?
Alla [95]
Hi there.

Please note that I've no prior experience with questions like theses. I am merely guessing.

If you look at the graph, you see that point D is the farthest away from the rest of the points. As far as I know this would indicate a surplus in production.

I hope this helps you!
