Answer: C) it was not relevant to the topic

Explanation: The material collected for speech made by Hector was related with the topic of space tourism but when he started his speech with the question regarding the dwarf star,it created confusion to the audience.

The audience can understand that speech example at the start and the topic on which Hector is giving speech are not related with each other and thus, did not make sense.

Other options are incorrect because it was non-relevant rather than weird. It was not scientific or long. Thus, the correct options is option (C).

How did the revolt in Haiti influence Napoleon's decision to sell Louisiana
natulia [17]

C. French defeats in Haiti ruined Napoleon's plan to build an empire in America.

Napoleon decided that holding a empire outside Europe would be too costly, drain too much resources and spread his troops out too much. He decided to drop most of the colonies & sell the Louisiana to the US not only as to be able to have more money to fund his wars, but also to give the UK a rival for the future.

ANTONII [103]

This is an example of psychological conditioning. When a stimulus (a flash of light) is paired with a consequence (an electric shock), the subject has a particular behaviour (pulling the finger away). After enough repetition, the subject will learn to associate the two, and the stimulus will be enough to motivate the behaviour, even when no consequence is present.

After several trials without the consequence, the subject will again dissociate the stimulus from the behaviour, and will go back to his pre-study pattern, in a process called extinction.
