Probability = Number of ways something can happen / Total number of outcomes; or:
P  = m / n
If the first friend randomly selects a mystery book the probability is:
3 / ( 3 + 4 ) = 3 / 7.
After that he leaves 2 mystery and 4 romance books. Probability that the second friend will randomly select a romance book is then :
4 / ( 2 + 4 ) = 4 / 6. And finally, the probability for all of that is:
P = 3 / 7 * 4 / 6 = 2 / 7.
Answer: The probability is 2 / 7.

The Vikings moved from the British Isles to England and set up a settlement in North America.

In colonizing North America, the French preceded the other two nations. Spain settled in Mexico and Florida along the west coast. Great Britain settled eastern coast where the thirteen colonies were established. France was settled throughout the Great Lakes and the thirteen colonies to the west.

Why was the League of Nations created and why did Congress reject U.S. participation in the League?
timofeeve [1]
I don’t know if I’m right

Motivated by Republican concerns that the League would commit the United States to an expensive organization that would reduce the United States' ability to defend its own interests, Lodge led the opposition to joining the League.
