The students are correct because if they are parallel they need to have the same slope they all have the same slope.

The area of a parallelogram is 60 feet the height 5 feet how long is the base
Kobotan [32]
Hello!

We have to use a certain formula to find the area of a parallelogram. The formula is:

A = bh

Since we already have the area and the base of the parallelogram, we will be able to find the height!

Notice how we multiply the base by the height to find the area? Well, we'll have to do the opposite to find one of its dimensions.

What's the opposite of multiplication? Division!

Formula for base:

B = A ÷ h

Substitute:

B = 60 ÷ 5

B = 12

ANSWER:

The base is 12 feet long.

there were 3 apple 1 mixed fruit 2 grape and 4 tropical fruit juice boxes in the cooler at the picnic what is the probability th
JulsSmile [24]
Total juice boxes = 3 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 10

probability first one out is grape = 2 / 10
probablility second one out is grape 1 / 9 (one taken already and only nine left)

total probability = 2 / 10 x  1 / 9 = 2 / 90 = 1 / 45
