Answer: indeed very unjustly.

We must consider first that "A Modest Proposal" is in fact a satire. Swift's proposal to solving the economic problems of Ireland is to sell poor children as food to rich people. And in the excerpt, he exposes the idea of women as nothing but breeders. When the obvious though of possible protests to that degrading situation, he then says that such behavior is "<em>indeed very unjustly" </em>complained about. That contrast between something so horrific and such a simple answer as if there was nothing wrong with it is what shows clearly the irony of the text.

Answer: C - indeed very unjustly.

In "its only fair," the point of view is?
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

First person point of view.

Explanation:

The first-person point of view illustrates the writing from the narrator's point of view or perspective with the use of the pronoun "I" or "We" contrary to a second or third person point of view that employs "you" or "They" as a pronoun. The narrator is the witness to the story who keeps an "eye" over the events or observes the series of events that carry the story. Thus, <em>"It's only fair" exemplifies the first person point of view as it employs "I" or "We" which is described from Avery's point of view.</em>
