Answer:

A generalization is defined as a broad idea, being applied to a group of people or things that are not entirely true.

Because there are always some examples of individuals or situations, where the generalization does not hold true.

For example-

I see two women wearing hats. So I will generalize that all women wear hats. This is wrong.

And when generalization is true in math like. for count by 10 rule, we know that the ones place stays the same and the tens place changes by one number. Like 21,31,41,51...... Here we can say that generalization is likely correct.

If theres 3 apples and you take 2 away, how many do you have?
Degger [83]
The answer depends on the perspective; however, this question is often meant to be a "trick question"; with the answer being: 2 (two) apples!
_______________________________________________
The rationale behind this answer is that if there are three apples, but you "take 2 away" you now have "2" apples, because YOU are the one who "took away the 2 apples"—so presumably, YOU have the "2 apples" that YOU "took away"!

For which method of data collection is it most important to select a representative sample so that the information may be genera
dalvyx [7]

ANSWER:

INFERENTIAL STATISTICS

STEP-STEP-BY EXPLANATION:

Inferential statistics are mathematical tools for estimating how likely it is that a statistical result based on data from a random sample is representative of the population from which the sample is assumed to have been selected.

It can make inferences from data to more general conditions like

* estimate the degree of confidence that can be placed in generalizations from a sample to the population from which the sample was drawn. (generalize your sample to a larger population)
