4 0

Answer: y > -4

Step-by-step explanation: i believe this is your answer because i think you are asking for the range more or less. when you do this, you have to just ask yourself what points would be acceptable (any y point above -4) so the answer would be any y value more than -4, y > -4

The total cost to play paintball can be represented by the expression (48x+54). If Rocco and five friends split the cost equally
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

8x + 9

Step-by-step explanation:

The total number of people splitting the cost equally = Rocco and five friends = 6 people

The total cost to play paintball can be represented by the expression (48x+54)

The cost for each person is calculated as: The total cost to play paintball/ Total number of people

= (48x+54)/6

= 48x/6 + 54/6

= 8x + 9

Therefore, the cost for each person is

8x + 9

A sailboat leaves port and sails 12 kilometers west and then 9 kilometers north. The sailboat is now kilometers from port
Luden [163]

Answer:  The sailboat is at a distance of 15 km from the port.

Step-by-step explanation:  Given that a sail boat leaves port and sails 12 kilometers west and then 9 kilometers north.

We are to find the distance between the sailboat from the port in kilometers.

Since the directions west and north are at right-angles, we can visualize the movement of the sailboat in the form of a right-angled triangle as shown in the attached figure.

The sailboat moves leaves the port at P and reach O after sailing 12 km west. From point O, again it moves towards north 9 km and reach the point S.

PS = ?

Using the Pythagoras theorem, we have from right-angled triangle SOP,

PS^2=OS^2+OP^2=9^2+12^2=81+144=225\\\\\Rightarrow PS=15~\textup{km}.

Thus, the sailboat is at a distance of 15 km from the port.

Paul is making grey paint.
velikii [3]
Its quite simple. for every white bucket of paint he uses, he uses 3 buckets of black paint as well. so if he made 24 litres of grey paint then he would have had to use 24 buckets of white paint. but, this might be a trick question because its saying he made 24 "litres" but the unit it started with was "buckets" so it might be trying to trick you because we dont know how much paint is in one "bucket"
