Well there are three reasons
it drains into rivers, streams, etc. or
it seeps into soil and gather underground as ground-water
or
falls into high mountains and freeze and in the summer it will melt and flows into the rivers

When there is precipitation, rain water mainly goes to three places

50% Absorbed to the ground.
40% Evaporation
10% Runs off.

If there is rain on already existing bodies of waters (ie rivers)
It will just be hundred precent absorbed in to the water and combined in to the same body of water.

When the evnviroment is in a freezing environment, the rain water will freeze, and repeat its process of absorption and evaporation again once it melts.

protoporphyrin ix fluorescence and photobleaching during interstitial photodynamic therapy of malignant gliomas for early treatm
Marysya12 [62]

Prior to therapy, a high PpIX fluorescence was observed in three patients; however, after iPDT, this fluorescence was entirely photobleached. These patients' viable tumor sections had high PpIX concentrations (mean PpIX uptake per tumor: 1.4-3.0 M).

Briefing:

However, no or just minimal PpIX uptake (0-0.6 M) could be seen in the remaining two cases. Strong PpIX uptake patients demonstrated therapeutic response and long-term clinical stabilization (no progression at 29, 30, and 36 months); the remaining two patients experienced early treatment failure (death after 3 and 9 months).

Describe fluorescence:

Two steps make up the chemical process of fluorescence first, a chemical fluorophore such a protein or carotenoid absorbs shorter-wavelength light (excitation), and then some of the absorbed energy is released as longer-wavelength light (emission).

Tom has developed chronic kidney disease. he has lost weight and has a poor intake. the most likely cause is:
almond37 [142]
Chronic kidney disease is when your kidney is not functioning properly. Kidneys contain filters called nephrons. It is the their job to filter the blood of waste products and extra fluid. As a result, your body flushes the waste out as urine. The most common causes of chronic kidney disease are diabetes and high blood pressure. If your blood vessels contain a high concentration of sugar and cholesterol, the nephrons would take the exhaustive work. In the long run, if you keep eating unhealthy food, the kidney could no longer catch up. Thus, resulting to chronic kidney disease.
