It depends on what you are rounding to. The next whole number? the tenths place?. for the whole number 0.93 would be 1.00 but for the tenths. it would be 0.90. 0.90+0.20= 1.10

Answer:

  A) $8/bushel (divide dollars by bushels)

  B)  $2

Step-by-step explanation:

A) We observe that the graph is a straight line through the origin, so we know the price is proportional to the quantity. The "rate of change" is the ratio of price to quantity, which can be figured using any point on the graph.

For easy division by quantity, it is convenient to use the point for 10 bushels. That price is $80, so the "rate of change" is ...

  price per bushel = $80/10 = $8 . . . per bushel

__

B) The same calculation can be done for the previous year. Any line of the table will do.

  price per bushel = $12/2 = $6

The current year price is greater by ...

  $8 -6 = $2 . . .  per bushel

The time t required to drive a certain distance varies inversely with the speed r. If it takes 2 hours to drive the distance at
tia_tia [17]

We are given:

The time t required to drive a certain distance varies inversely with the speed r.

According to the question t is inversely proportional to speed(r).

let us say distance (d) is constant of proportionality,

So the equation becomes,

t=\frac{d}{r}

Now from the question, we are given it takes 2 hours to drive the distance at 67 miles per hour, so plugging these in the above equation,

2=\frac{d}{67}

d=134 miles.

Now we have to find how long will it take to drive the same distance that is 134 miles at 55 miles per hour

so plugging the values, we have,

t=\frac{134}{55}

t=2.436

So the time taken will be around 2.5 hours.

Answer :  It will take about 2.5 hours to drive the same distance at 55 miles per hour. Option C. About 2.5 hours.

Cassie has a small cube shaped box. Its volume is 64 cubic cm. What is the area of one face of tje box.
Andrews [41]

Answer:  One face is 16 square centimeters.

Step-by-step explanation: To find the area of a face, you need to know the length of the side. All the sides of the cube are the same, so take the cube root of 64.

\sqrt[3]{64}=4 cm is the length of the side

The area of one face is the side length squared 4² = 16

4cm × 4cm = 16 square centimeters.
