Answer:

Character initial = 'R';

Explanation:

For defining a variable, first you must identify the type of the variable, in this case it is a Character as we are only holding a single character.

The next step in defining a variable is the identifier, which is the name of the variable, in this case "initial".

Now we need to assign the needed character, in this case 'R' (for my first name), you use a single '=' to assign a variables, and finally you close the line with a semi-colon, as is standard in Java.

What is CLI tools ?

A command line interface (CLI) is a text-based user interface (UI) used to run programs, manage computer files, and interact with a computer. A command line interface is also known as a command line user interface, console user interface, or character user interface.

Why do we use CLI tools ?

The CLI is a command line utility that accepts text input and executes operating system functions. In the 1960s,  this was the only way to interact with a computer, as only computer terminals were in use. In the 1970s and 1980s, command line input was widely used on Unix systems and personal computer systems such as MS-DOS and Apple DOS.

Why does a bus topology require a terminator? a) because otherwise it would be a ring network b) because otherwise the packets w
Maksim231197 [3]

Answer:

B)because otherwise the packets will bounce back and forth from end to end repeatedly

Explanation:

Bus topology can be regarded as a kind of topology for a Local Area Network, it is one that has it's nodes connected to a single cable(backbone) and any break in the so called backbone, there will be failure in the entire segment. However a Terminator is usually attached to the end-points of a bus network so that the signal is absorbed by the Terminator and as a result of this the signal will not reflect back down the line. If there is no Terminator there would be bouncing back and forth of packet in an endless loop.It should be noted that a bus topology require a terminator because otherwise the packets will bounce back and forth from end to end repeatedly

When a laptop internal device fails, what three options can you use to deal with the problem?
ahrayia [7]

Answer:

I. Return the laptop to a service center for repair.

II. Substitute an external component for the internal component.

III. Replace the internal component.

Explanation:

A laptop can be defined as a small portable computer that is embedded with a keyboard and light enough to be placed on the user's lap while working.

When a laptop internal device fails, the three options which you can use to deal with the problem are;

I. Return the laptop to a service center for repair: a computer technician at the service center would troubleshoot and fix the problem i.e the internal device that failed.

II. Substitute an external component for the internal component: the user could swap a component found on the outside of a laptop with an internal component provided that they are compatible with each other.

III. Replace the internal component: if the failed internal component is a customer replaceable unit (CRU), you can easily replace it.
