Answer: I would contend that the right answer is the D) Surrounded by mist.

Explanation: Just to elaborate a little on the answer, it can be added that in this excerpt from his poem "A Summer Night," the 19th-century British poet Matthew Arnold is describing a thought or a memory "of a past night" spent in the countryside outdoors. Behind some houses, "through the soft air," he remembers having seen the "blue haze-cradled mountains spread away." If the mountains were symbolically cradled, they were embraced, held, or surrounded by haze, which is a phenomenon very similar to mist—haze is the suspension of minuscule dry particles in the air, and mist is the suspension of water droplets.

English Language Paper 2 Help:
Scorpion4ik [409]

Answer:

read below:

Explanation:

I, personally, agree with the statement 100%. Money has corrupted our world Due to any and everything costing some kind of currency, you cannot ask of a favor from someone without having to pay. Winning is almost the same and it is sickening to be quite honest, I cannot watch a basketball game without noticing how hard the players are trying to win, even harming each other to score a point. Sports are supposed to be fun and entertaining. People consider sports as a career, which, I do not disagree with the terms of sports being careers, it’s just that people are all in it for money and with money, comes greed. Greed starts off with the younger generations playing sports and were always trying to win. To impress. To show off.

(This is just my perspective and outlook.)

Describe Mr.Tumnus’s cave from “The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

Explanation:

The entrance to the cave was concealed by a large boulder, and was described as being a nice place, little but dry, and clean. The inside was carved out of reddish stone, with a carpet on the floor, a fireplace, two little chairs, a dresser and a table. There was also a mantelpiece over the fire, with a painting of Tumnus' father, which hung over it on the wall. In one corner of the cave, there was a door that presumably led to Tumnus' bedroom. There was also a wall with an assortment of books on shelves.

Vinil7 [7]

Answer:

How To Write Sample Persuasion Letters?

Before you start writing, make sure you have an idea to collect that can be effective and convincing. This will help you know arguments to be added and in sequence.

Try and connect your writing goal in an effective and precise way, as it will only help you write a creative letter.

You must have a good understanding of the receiver’s thinking. It is to present your point of view effectively in a perfect manner.

Describe your point of view in detail and cover counter-arguments in your letter.

Present your persuasion letter on the facts and statistics, making your points logical.

Persuasion letters are argumentative, but your tone of writing must be straight and polite.

It is only possible to convince someone when you know how the recipient takes your advice, either positively or negatively.

Always write a thank you as a closing clause for your letter. Never lose hope as the letter will put the receiver into the thought of your points.

The points discussed above are important to consider before starting your letter. Below are the sample letters that were written to help you in such situations and let you know how to handle them.
