They have this belief that God is one and is concerned with the actions of mankind. It was also proven that God manifested himself to Abraham and promise him with descendants and a nation named Canaan. It was later on proven by God's interference on the slavery done on the Israelites by the Egyptian which has led to Exodus to Canaan and the foundation of the 10 commandments. Through this occurrences it has proven that connecting to a God can save a race and a nation from intruders.

Although there are no right answers I'd say the Louisiana Purchase because it gave a huge amount of land and helped with transporting goods across the country. Making it easier to get resources that would otherwise take a long time to transport.

Explain the main purpose for the amendment process. Why is it important to do it this way?
atroni [7]
The amendment process is to clarify or alter the United States Constitution. It requires a two-thirds vote in both the Senate and the House of Representatives or a two-thirds vote in a convention by the states. Either of which is hard to have done. It is done this way to Make sure that any amendments done to the constitution have an overwhelming majority of people in support of it.

Some examples whereas the United States Constitution clarifies "We the People" are in amendments 13, 15, and 19. These do not change the effect of the Constitution, it only makes clear that it applies to everyone, regardless of gender or race.

Some examples whereas the United States Constitution is altered is in many other amendments such as term limits like in the 20th amendment.

What did Lincolns election as president convince Southerners that they had lost their voice in the
Katyanochek1 [597]

Due to the slavery debate, Northern support for the South began to wane in the 1850s. Lincoln's Republican party was able to take control of Congress and the White House in 1860 because of the Democratic Party's split into Northern and Southern sections. The South came to the realization that its partners in the Federal Government were no longer there.

The southern states opposed Abraham Lincoln's victory in the 1864 election. Lincoln was a Republican. Furthermore, the Republican Party was anti-slavery. Lincoln never expressed a desire to put an end to slavery in the South.

Lincoln was not on many southern ballots because there was no southern Republican Party to produce a ballot. States in the South were worried that Lincoln would abolish slavery. Radical southerners known as Fire Eaters called for southern independence in the 1850s if the Republican Party won the election.
