In the original sentence, the word 'although' is unnecessary - you can either omit although from the sentence to make it correct, or keep although but change the verb into 'indicate' rather than 'indicating.' A is incorrect because there obviously has to be a change. C and D are incorrect as well because they show some kind of contrast, which is unnecessary and incorrect for the context above.
