The ancient Mesopotamia offered civilizations that settled and built there economic stability. The Mesopotamia empire was built between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.  This was extremely beneficial to them because it provided fertile lands for them to grow crops especially after they created irrigation canals.  It was also located in an area that was prosperous in trade making it a place many would want to settle.
