Complete the sentence. ____________ affects the way heat is distributed on Earth's surface.
enyata [817]

Earth's tilt on its axis affects the way heat is distributed on Earth's surface.

The Earth orbits the sun every 365 ¼ days. The Earth is tilted 23.5 degrees on its axis, which affects the distribution of the sun’s energy across the surface of the planet. More tilt means more severe seasons, that is warmer summers and colder winters where as less tilt means less severe seasons, that is cooler summers and milder winters.

Symptoms of postpartum psychosis appear to be triggered by:
Andrews [41]
The correct answer is c. Postpartum psychosis is an extreme mental illness in which a new mother does not respond well emotionally to her new baby. This is not a voluntary disorder, which cancels out the first multiple choice option, and mothers who have diabetes actually seem to be protected from it, invalidating the second multiple choice option. The fourth multiple choice option seems to better describe postpartum depression, which is not the same as postpartum psychosis (the former is a depressive disorder, while the latter is a bipolar one).

What part of the ocean have the most competition
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

.....

Explanation:

There is no doubt that competition occurs, but less is known about the strength and importance of competition affecting ecosystems. The latter is not easy to get at for living organisms because the role of each organism in the ecosystem needs to be well-known. It is even more difficult for fossil ecosystems because the diet is not fully understood for each species and not all animals have the same preservation potential. Nevertheless, paleontologists have attempted to find evidence for competition between taxa. For example, they have investigated the diversity and abundance through time of two groups thought to have competed with each other by having lived at about the same time and place and having had a similar diet. For example, Sepkoski and colleagues (2000) showed that cyclostome bryozoans became much more diverse in the Cretaceous and Cenozoic, while cheilostome bryozoan diversity declined. Strong competition between these two groups with cyclostomes as the winner is an explanation for this pattern.
