In capitalism, what does competition do for consumers? A. It limits the number of choices consumers have. B. It prevents consume
Lina20 [59]

Answer:

The best options is:

D. It keeps prices fair for consumers.

Explanation:

<u>In capitalism, anyone can become a producer or manufacturer and start selling their products to consumers. That means there is competition between different producers, since they will each want consumers to buy their products so that they (the producers) can profit from selling. To achieve that, they are more likely to establish better/lower prices. That way, the chances of attracting consumers to buy their products increase.</u> In a system that is not capitalist, it may very well be that there is only one producer for that product. In that case, consumers would have no choice but to buy that product for whatever price it is sold at.

Write a letter to your friend describing how you saved a child who was in danger<br><br><br><br>
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

Number 12 Aventon Street,

Birmingham.

September 15, 2020.

Dear Liam, how are you doing? I hope you're doing fine.

Man you would never believe that I became superman for 3 minutes yesterday as I rescued a child from an armed attacker.

Now, don't laugh. This is serious. It was a life and death stuff, yeah I know I'm scrawny and skinny but yesterday all those was replaced by cold rage and a sense of duty to save the young lad.

On my way home just past six in the evening, I saw a young teen arguing with an older boy about something, I decided to mind my business, when suddenly the bigger (and older) guy brought out a jack knife!

I acted without thinking, and I'm glad I did because it probably saved the young lad's life. I struggled with the attacker for a while, after he had already slashed the kid on the arm a few times, I overpowered him and with the help of some bystanders, we rendered him immobile. The police was called and they took the rascal away.

Well, enough of my three minutes heroics, hope you're having a swell time over there.

Have a blessed weekend, man.

YOURS FAITHFULLY,

Aaron Connolly.

Collective farmers must drive off all their cattle and turn
PSYCHO15rus [73]

Answer:

C. It is worth the loss of property to ensure that Germany finds  nothing useful to it.

Explanation:

The given passage is taken from the "scorched earth" policy established by Joseph Stalin after the German troops invaded the USSR in 1941. The radio broadcast gave an order to the people on how to act when evading or leaving their homes.

In this broadcast, Stalin orders the destruction of <em>"All valuable property including non-ferrous metals, grain, and fuel which cannot be withdrawn"</em> so that it will not fall on the hands of the Germans. He also advised the farmers to<em> "drive off their cattle and turn over their grain to the safekeeping of the State authorities"</em>, so that if and when the Germans reach that place, they will not be used by them. The order seems to state that losing a property is better than providing any useful thing for the Germans.

Thus, the correct answer is option C.
