We have
length = ∛81
width = 3^{ \frac{2}{3} }

Area = \sqrt[3]{81} ×  3^{ \frac{2}{3} }
Area = 81^{ \frac{1}{3} } × 3^{ \frac{2}{3} }
Area = ( 3^{4}) ^{ \frac{1}{3} } × 3^{ \frac{2}{3} }
Area = 3^{ \frac{4}{3} } × 3^{ \frac{2}{3} }
Area = 3^{ \frac{6}{3} }
Area = 3^{2}
Area = 9 inches squared

First express <span>∛81 as an exponential expression, using the properties of exponents and roots:
</span>
\sqrt[3]{81}= 81^{ \frac{1}{3} }= (3^{4}) ^{ \frac{1}{3} }= 3^{ \frac{4}{3} }

The area of the rectangle = length*width

=3^{ \frac{4}{3} } * 3^{ \frac{2}{3} } =3^{(\frac{4}{3} +\frac{2}{3}) }=3^{ \frac{6}{3} }= 3^{2}=9 (inches squared).

Calculate the area of this section of floor in square feet.
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

A total= 0.6703125 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

A1= 3.9× 14.3= 55.77 in²

A2=1/2 × 14.3× ( 9.6-3.9)= 40.755 in²

A total= A1+ A2= 55.77+40.755=96.525 in²

1 ft= 12 in , 1ft²= 144 in²

Atotal= 96.525÷144= 0.6703125 ft²

Write an inequality for the graph.
gregori [183]
First of all, the shaded part is under the line, so it is a smaller than, so we can eliminate D
next, look at the vertex, it is at (5,5), which means when x=5, whatever is inside the absolute symbol has a value of zero, and y will be 5
so the answer is A

You invest $1,100 in an account that has an annual interest rate of 2.1%, compounded continuously. How much money will be in the
uranmaximum [27]
$1100 x 1.021^7 = $1272 (whole number.)

the $1100 is the original amount of money put in the bank with the 1.021 being the interest rate. this was put to the power of 7 to represent the years the money will be in the account.

Solve for X: 2^3x + 1 = 2^10<br><br> please look at photo and give detailed steps!! thank you
mel-nik [20]

Step-by-step explanation:

since the bases are the same all you have to do is just get the powers of both bases which is 3x + 1 and 10

you're then going to equate 3 x + 1 to 10 and then you have to make +1 cross to the other side making it become -1

you then can subtract 1 from 10 leaving you with 9

and at the LHS we have 3x

we are gonna get rid of the three by dividing it into itself and the 9 at the RHS then <u>X = 3</u>
