Why do you think Einstein pointed out that the United States did not have much high-quality uranium?
Leya [2.2K]

Answer:

In the summer of 1939, American newspapers began to discuss the prospects of using atomic energy. Although physicists reported new advances in this field, many Americans doubted that nuclear weapons could be created. Leo Silarda, a physicist from Hungary, was worried that America had not shown itself in such a serious matter: this could be an advantage for Nazi Germany.

Sylard himself could not find support in the government and decided to seek help from his friend Albert Einstein. Sylard told him that the atomic bomb can be created with the current achievements of science. Sylard’s request was that Einstein warned the Belgian queen, who could protect large reserves of uranium ore in the Belgian Congo from the Nazis.

To what degree was imperialism in the late 19th century a consequence of political/nationalism
Lilit [14]

Answer:

Imperialism had a negative impact on the colonies. Native culture and industries were decimated under alien domination. Local artisan industries were wiped out by imported items. Colonial powers kept colonies from building industries by exploiting them as suppliers of raw resources and consumers for manufactured goods.

In your opinion, what is the importance of the United States being "a nation of law, not of any individual, or group of men or w
masya89 [10]
It is "justice for all", not "justice for men" or "justice for women." This nation was built on equality that we have obviously not achieved. We have pride in our laws that keep our nation in order. If we just represented one individual or group, we wouldn't be a nation.
