Cycling of water involving four different processes. These processes are evaporation, condensation, precipitation and infiltration. Water cycle operates under the influence of solar energy. Evaporation is a process by which water from water bodies such as oceans, lakes, streams change into water vapours due to heat from the sun. The vapours rise up. Condensation is a process in which water vapour in the air cools down and changed into water and then water falls from clouds in the process called precipitation. The water is then infiltrating into the ground as groundwater.
