In the male reproductive system, bulbourethral glands secrete an alkaline fluid which neutralizes acidic condition of urine in the urethra and also neutralizes acidic condition in the vagina.

In the female reproductive system, bartholin gland, a small fluid filled sac that present inside opening of vagina. It secretes mucus which lubricates vagina.
